Maundy Thursday April 9 – Golden Sands Virtual Easter Painting Competition
Calling egg-cellent artists! Draw or paint your own Easter themed piece of artwork and enter our virtual competition! There are four age sections: 4 years & under, 5 – 8 years old, 9 – 12 years old
13 years and over. To enter send a photo of your picture via our Facebook page, in an email or send your entry by messenger. Just remember to give us the artist’s full name and category being entered.
Deadline for entries is 4pm with the winner announced at 6pm!
Good Friday April 10 – Golden Sands Easter Virtual Got Talent Competition
We know you’re a talented bunch! That’s why we’re calling on you to join in our Golden Sands Easter Virtual Got Talent Competition!
Whether you’re a singer, a dancer, a musician, a comedian, have a great trick to show – whatever your talent – join in our virtual Golden Sands Got Talent Competition! Closing date for entries: Friday April 10th at 6pm.
Shortlisted finalists will be revealed on our Golden Sands Facebook page later that night, with the act getting the most votes being declared the winner at 6pm on Easter Bank Holiday Monday!
Prize for winners is clubhouse vouchers for when we REOPEN!
There’ll be three age groups:
Under 12s
12 – 15
16 and over
Rules
Send us a two-minute clip of your entry by Messenger no later than Friday April 10th at 6pm. By sending us your clip you are giving your consent to Northumbrian Leisure Limited posting and sharing your footage on social media. If you’re under 16, please make sure you have the permission of your parent or guardian to enter and send your clip.
When making your video, please remember to stay safe and stay at home.
The judging panel will shortlist your entries and post the shortlisted finalists later that evening for YOU to vote who should be crowed the Golden Sands Virtual Got Talent Winner!
The winner will be announced on Easter Monday at 6pm.

The first clue will be posted for all you Easter Egg hunters at 11am…
You will have just TEN minutes to post the answer in your comments to solve the clue for the Golden Sands Easter bunny who will go LIVE on Facebook to follow you’re answers.. (staying at home where he lives on the park and socially distancing of course)

Easter Sunday Funday April 12 – Easter Egg Decorating Competition
We are egg-static about our virtual Easter Egg Decorating Competition.
We’re sparing no egg-citement in setting you mini Golden Sanders the challenge of entering our amazing Decorated Easter Competition..
To enter, make or decorate an Easter Egg on Easter Sunday between 12 – 2pm.
There are four age categories for cracking creations:
Four years and under
Five – eight years old
Nine – 12 years old
13 years and over
Send us a picture of egg-cellent creations by messenger or in a comment on our Facebook page by 2.30pm on Easter Sunday and remember to let us know which category you’re entering! Remember to get permission from your parent or guardian if you’re under 16 to enter.
