Here at Golden Sands we are getting ready for our whacky and wild Whit Weekend!!
We start the weekend on Friday 22nd May celebrating all thing Geordie in our adults only bar for our first night Geordie Pride night with a delicious side of pie and peas from 7pm onwards!
We don’t forget about the little ones here at Golden Sands as they can get bling with face painting by the fantastic Bling Bar from 7:30pm!
On Saturday 23rd May we take a look at our Italian side with the delicious Pizza Box food van serving pizzas from 12noon – 4pm whilst the kids can enjoy bouncy inflatables! Don’t vanish before the night as we have a night where magic meets disco in our downstairs bar from 7pm onwards whilst the outstanding vocalist Peter Allan entertains the adults in the upstairs bar from 8:15pm!!
The wild and whacky day finally arrives on Sunday 24th May starting with breakfast at 10am to get you all warmed up ready for a day full of fun from 12noon onwards with cocktail making, live local band, dance show, charity dunk tank, stalls and lots more!! The yummy North East Street food van will be here with us also to keep those tummies full!!
Carry on into the night on Sunday 24th May with Mr Twister and his magic show in the downstairs bar from 7:30pm whilst the fabulous Chris James vocalist performs in the upstairs bar from 8:15pm!! It’ll be a night not to be missed!!
We end a wild and whacky whit weekend on Monday 25th May with Animals about Town who everyone can interact with from 12noon – 4pm. We also have face painting with Stacey as well as tasty food from The Street Kitchen food van!!

From Easter Egg Hunts, to a boogie with the Bunny we have it all happening this Easter at Golden Sands!
Kick off Easter weekend on Good Friday at 12noon with our very own Alice and the Madhatter Day whilst ‘The Little Fishy’ food van is here serving delicious fish and chips to line your stomachs before our first sing and shake karaoke night in our upstairs bar from 7pm onwards!
We hope see see all your bunnies on Saturday 4th April for our Easter egg hunts starting from 10:30am onwards and after the madness of the hunting for eggs, The North East Street Food Van will be here serving tasty food from 12noon onwards to refuel you all. You can boogie on into the night at our disco with the Easter bunny on Saturday 4th April before we get into our Easter in the Park day on Easter Sunday!
Ears to a great day at the Park on Sunday 5th April! Start your Easter Sunday with breakfast at 10am before the fun filled day at the Park starts with prizes for the best dressed Bunny, inflatables, music and lots more eggstra fun! Carry on into the night on Easter Sunday with the fantastic vocalist JJ starting at 8:15pm whilst Mr Twister entertains the little chicks in the downstairs bar from 7:30pm.
It’s not all about the Easter chicks and bunnies this weekend, join us on Easter Monday between 12noon – 4pm to walk the Alpacas and go gaming crazy on the gamezone bus before eating tasty food from Habibi Food Van.
Get your competitive side out for our Easter Egg competition on Easter Monday at 1pm followed by a night full of Easter magic with Mr Merlin!

It’s all fun and games at our Golden Sands Kids Club where our entertainment team has a fun-filled line up of daily activities including treasure hunts, mini discos, arts and crafts, dressing up and outdoor games.
The adults can join in the fun in the Upstairs Bar where there’s live entertainment every weekend from amazing singer sensations to hilarious adult bingo and a spine tingling evening with Martyn the Medium!!
Take a break from cooking! Ditch the kitchen and pop along to our speciality food vans. We have lots of variety from Chicken Ting food van to the delicious One Dining burger van and lots more scrummy family favourites.
It’s the one you don’t want to miss…Summer wouldn’t be summer without Golden Sands’ famous Party in the Park! Our holidays finale’s happening on August Bank Holiday Sunday (August 24) with belting live music from some special guests and park favourite J.J. With kids’ rides, bouncy inflatable fun and a delicious food van we’ll be getting the party started at 12 noon.

We start our long fun filled weekend on Friday 23rd May with something for everyone!! We have a magic show at 7:30pm in our downstairs bar whilst we host our first ever Motown night in our adults only upstairs bar from 7pm onwards!! Come along and get into the swing of all things Motown!!
On Saturday 24th May we kick start the day at 10:30am with Kids vs Adults football followed by the delicious Spud Gun Loaded Fries food van and bouncy inflatables who are here between 12noon – 4pm. Party on into the night at our Disco and Games night in the downstairs bar at 7:30pm whilst the fantastic vocalist Nicola Brown entertains the adults in the upstairs bar from 8:30pm!!
The main day of the Whit weekend arrives on Sunday 25th May with our very first Golden Sands Country and Western Day from 12noon – 4pm. Join us for a day full of line dancing, lasso performances, country singing with a fantastic country and western vocalist, Georgia’s fantastic food van, rodeo bull and lots lots more!!
Carry on into the night on Sunday 25th May at our magic show in the downstairs bar from 7:30pm whilst our very own vocalist JJ sings his heart out in the upstairs bar for the adults from 8:30pm!! It’ll be a night not to be missed!!
On Monday 26th May we finish the long weekend with the Beirhope Alpacas who are here for everyone to meet from 12noon – 4pm. We also have the fantastic Gamezone Gaming Bus and Fizzwhizz Balloon house here with us from 12noon onwards. A burger van will be here serving food between 12noon – 4pm to save the cooking after a weekend full of fun!!
Stacey joins us with her fabulous face paints on Monday 26th May from 7pm – 9pm to end the Whit Weekend!!
From a meet and greet with the one and only King the Lion, a TIPI full of fun, Easter Egg hunts and lots more, we really do have it all covered this Easter here at Golden Sands!!

Into the night on Easter Saturday we have the egg-tastic Mr Twister with his magic from 7:30pm whilst the adults make the most of the Easter Extravaganza with a shot and sax night in the upstairs bar with Shindig Sax from 7pm onwards. We could have some bunnies with some very sore heads on Easter Saturday!!
Eggs galore on Easter Saturday with our Easter Egg hunts taking place from 10:30am onwards!! (Suitable for all ages at separate intervals starting with under 5’s at 10:30am). All those little legs will be tired after hunting for eggs so we have a tasty pizza van here serving pizzas between 12noon – 4pm. Party on into the night with our Easter Bunny disco from 7:30pm, whilst in the upstairs bar we’re egg-cited to welcome the amazing live vocalist, Peter Allan.
Ears to a good time on Easter Sunday with our very first interactive meet and greet with King the Lion from 12noon – 4pm whilst the adults enjoy our cosy TIPI with karaoke, adult games, music and lots more! Georgia will be joining us also with her delicious food van serving hot food between 12noon – 4pm!
Carry on into the night on Easter Sunday with Flash and his Easter balloon making and magic, whilst the fantastic vocalist JJ entertains the adults in the upstairs bar from 8:30pm!
It’s not all about the Easter bunnies this weekend, join us on Easter Monday between 12noon – 4pm for walks with the Beirhope Alpacas before you get your face painted by the wonderful Stacey!

It’s almost time to get the Halloween party startled at Golden Sands Holiday Park!
You’re the trick to our treat and knowing how much you love a fangtastic time at Halloween, we’ve got every body covered with ghoulishly good entertainment at the scariest time of year starting with Spooky Adult Bingo on Friday October 25th.
Feeling fang-cy? Don’t miss our Halloween Fancy Dress Party Night on Saturday October 26. Whether you’re too cute to spook, or you’re channeling your inner bad witch, shake your boo-thang at the Clubhouse (both bars) from 7.30pm onwards.
The frightful fun continues through the half term holidays with the Golden Sands Boo Crew! We’ll have scarily good games with Cal on Monday October 28, so if the broom fits – fly it! Later that night settle back for spookily good fun and Halloween candy to sink your vampire teeth into at the DVD Night.
Try your hand at spellbinding cake decorating on Tuesday October 29th. The magic happens at 7pm in the Clubhouse.
New face – who dis? Say boo with Halloween Face painting in the Clubhouse on Wednesday October 30th from 7pm.
There’ll be lots of hocus pocus on Thursday October 31st with trick or treating with everyone’s favourite True Dreams followed by a Halloween Special Mini Disco for little ghosts and ghouls.
We’ll be rounding off an epic week with our amazing Golden Sands Party Night on Saturday November 2nd, so get your glad rags on and party on!
